Junior/Mid-level Software Developer – Edgbaston, Birmingham

Software Developer required for a well-known organisation based in Edgbaston, Birmingham, where you will play a key part in exciting technology plans currently underway. Within the position you will be responsible for the configuration and development of a range of systems, and will give you the exposure to Office 365, Azure, SharePoint etc.

This is an excellent opportunity for a junior-level softwarre developer, with some commercial development experience (preferably .NET) to make the most of their potential in a well-known organisation.

Key responsibilities of the role

• Analysing and clarifying initial requirements provided by the Engagement team.
• Maintaining continually updated knowledge of SaaS and PaaS solutions development and management, through research and engagement with product suppliers.
• Developing existing solutions by analysing and identifying areas for modification.
• Integrating existing software solutions and resolving platform incompatibility issues.
• Creating technical specifications and documentation, plans, processes and standard procedures.
• Writing operational documentation with technical authors and service provision teams.
• Maintaining and developing systems by monitoring and correcting software defects.

Salary

The salary for this position is up to £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits.
