Applications Analyst - SQL - Willenhall

Solutions/Applications Analyst required for an international organisation based in Willenhall, where you will play a key part in the coordination, implementation and support core central software solutions. Providing technical internal support whilst working with our support partners to deliver changes through creation, testing and going live.

The ideal candidate will have experience with SQL, and will have excellent communication skills, alongside being comfortable with working with projects. Some travel is expected in the role.

Key responsibilities of the role

• Managing the core central software environments including UAT/Test areas.
• Maintain data integrity in core central software processes.
• Liaise with users to ensure calls are resolved to their satisfaction and close resolved calls.
• Providing technical support to for all core central software solutions.
• You’ll be supporting the smooth running of system Integration and transition. 
• Work closely with 3^rd party suppliers, maintaining and building relationships.

Key Skills of the role

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL, mainly for reading and writing of scripts and looking at back-end data.
• Excellent level of experience working on projects and stakeholders on all levels.
• Highly desirable retail experience this would be desirable but don’t worry, this wouldn’t be a deal breaker.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral, along with excellent attention to detail.
• Ideally you will be flexible with travel.

Salary

The salary for this position is up to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits.
