IT Finance Programme Manager - Finance Systems - Birmingham
IT Finance Programme Manager required for an international organisation based in Birmingham City Centre, where you be responsible for working closely with the finance department and IT to define and manage requirements for a number of initiatives across the organisation. You will play a key part in managing these through the full lifecycle of delivery.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Programme Manager with experience delivering complex finance projects, alongside experience working with finance systems.
Key Responsibilities of the role
- Planning and designing the programme and proactively monitoring its progress, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action.
- Defining the programme’s governance arrangements, and facilitating the appointment of individuals to project teams.
- Managing the programme’s budget, monitoring expenditure and costs against deliver and realised benefits as the programme progresses.
- Managing third party contributions to the programme.
- Manage communications with all stakeholders.
Key Skills of the role
- Solid experience in delivering complex finance projects, and experience working with a range of finance systems.
- Extensive experience working as a programme manager with a proven track record for delivery.
- Previous line management experience of managing up to 10 team members.
- Experience of working with Agile methodology.
- Desirable to have worked within a finance department or have a background in finance.
Salary
The salary for this position is between £70,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience
