Junior Software Developer/Support Analyst – C#/.NET - Sutton Coldfield
Junior Software Developer/Support Analyst required for a global organisation based in Sutton Coldfield, where you will be responsible for managing application support incidents and building tools/application to help diagnose and support the application. You will be a part of a small, experience and energetic team that are on a rapid, agile-based development schedule.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven, technically confident individual who is comfortable working with a range of people.
Key Responsibilities of the role
- Manage application support incidents and requests both internally and from external clients.
- Work with third parties to introduce process and documentation for support.
- Build tools and applications to help diagnose and support the application.
- Undertake small development projects in order to take-on necessary skills to become a future developer of the software.
- Work with the development team to ensure new components and functionality are supportable and will grow with the application.
- Participate in a small, experienced, energetic team on a rapid, agile-based development schedule.
- Work with the support and development team to provide out-of-hours support when scheduled.
Key Skills of the role
- Experience in a client-facing support role
- Some basic development experience using C#, ASP .NET, entity frameworks
- SQL and database knowledge and skills
- Technical background and capable of conversing in technologies including C#, ASP .NET, entity frameworks
Salary
The salary for this position is between £25,000 - £28,000 per annum plus on-call payments, plus benefits.
