InfoSec Specialist – Security Testing/Application Security - Coventry
Cyber & Information Application Security Specialist required for a leading organisation in Coventry, where you will be responsible for being the Subject Matter Expert in application and infrastructure security testing, and can effectively applied penetration testing skills to support IT projects. You will develop repeatable test cases, identify risks vulnerabilities, supporting coordinated improvements to technical systems.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in an operational based security testing role or penetration testing organisation.
Within the role, you will lead on the IT Security to undertake application testing of security systems. You will ensure that the appropriate standards and tests are completed in line with Information Security & IT Security Policy/Strategy.
Key Skills of the role
- Solid experience on application and infrastructure security testing.
- Extensive experience working in an operational based security testing role or penetration testing organisation.
- Good understanding of security monitoring, investigations response activity.
- Exposure to NIST, OWASP and ISO standards.
- Recognised Information & Cyber Security experience and certification.
Salary
The salary for this position is up to £60,000 depending on experience, plus bonus and benefits including working from home.
