IT Technical Lead – SQL DBA – Stoke-on-Trent
IT Technical Lead required for an exciting organisation based in Stoke on Trent where you will play a key role in ensuring that all cloud-based infrastructure (Azure), DBA and SQL activities are managed and implemented effectively. The role will include day-to-day management of the cloud based Azure environment.
The ideal candidate will be a highly technical individual with strong database management experience, and experience in SQL 2012, 2014 & 2016. You will also have experience with T-SQL, MIBI, Azure SQL and Database monitoring tools.
Key Skills of the role
- Experience in SQL 2012, 2014 and 2016
Database management including:
- Maintenance
- Management
- Restore
- Performance improvements
- Database Design and implementation
- Database incident management
- Data Load and extraction
- Backup and restore
Experience in the following:
- Transact SQL
- MIBI
- Azure SQL
- Database monitoring tools
Salary
The salary for this position is between £50,000 - £60,000 per annum depending on experience, plus benefits.
