SharePoint Support Analyst – Central Birmingham
SharePoint Support Analyst required for a leading international organisation based in Birmingham City Centre, where you will be responsible for supporting SharePoint at the 2nd/3rd level, in an organisation where SharePoint is becoming a vital part of the business.
The ideal candidate will have previous application support experience, with technical understanding of SharePoint and the delivery of services through SharePoint. This will also give you an excellent opportunity to develop your career into a team leader role.
Key responsibilities of the role
- Drive and assist the SharePoint support team in the provision of a high level of support across the business.
- Assist with the development of procedures for all elements of supporting the clients SharePoint solutions.
- Manage the application discovery process for the installation, configuration and maintenance of software connected to SharePoint.
- Ensure SharePoint support operates in line with agreed long term application roadmaps.
- Ensure support processes are followed and service quality remains high.
Key Skills of the role
- The ideal candidate will have previous application support experience, with technical understanding of SharePoint and the delivery of services through SharePoint.
- Ability to support applications, systems, processes or services delivered through SharePoint.
- Technically minded with the ability to undertake complex problem solving.
- Desirable to have experience working with offshore teams, and managing/mentoring team members.
- A service focus and understanding of appropriate use of ITIL & Service management.
- Desirable to have understanding of Agile methodology.
Salary
The salary for this position is between £32,500 - £37,500 per annum at this stage, dependent on the experience, plus benefits
