IT Business Analyst – Stoke-On-Trent

IT Business Analyst required for a leading organisation based in Stoke-On-Trent town centre, where you will be required to work with internal stakeholders to understand the needs of the business and assist with the overall direction of challenging internal projects. This is an exciting time of transition within the organisation, in which you can play a key part.

The ideal candidate will be a highly experienced Business Analyst, preferably with Utilities experience, however this is not essential.

Key Responsibilities of the role

• Understanding the goals and objectives of each business initiative, whilst analysing data from existing systems to thoroughly understand the business issues.
• Responsibility for understanding the issues that are preventing the business from achieving it goals.
• Conduct requirements gathering workshops and develop requirements catalogues.
• Analyse and evaluate all aspects of the project initiative.
• Establish effective relationships with the wider organisation, to meet the needs of the business, and maintain effective controls and communication channels.
• Document any identified required changes, and communicate them to relevant third parties/colleagues.

Key Skills of the role

• Confident and driven Business Analyst, with excellent technical/system experience, and an ability to communication effectively complex information simply.
• Desirable to have experience with Microsoft Dynamics, or a similar piece of CRM software.
• Experience of operating successfully at all levels of organisations, and experience with managing stakeholders relationships and goals.
• Experience with supplier and contracts management
• Desirable to have Lean/Six Sigma experience

Salary

The salary for this position is up £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits
