Lead Technical Architect – Central London

Lead Technical Architect required for a leading organisation based in Central London, where you will play an integral role in building a holistic view and roadmap of the company’s technology strategy, processes, and information technology roadmap. Working in conjunction with the business, you will ensure that proposed technical solutions drive the company’s overall objectives.

Key Responsibilities of the role

• Build the long-term strategic roadmap for all IT systems architecture.
• Align IT strategy and planning with the company’s business goals and objectives.
• Integrate business and service strategy into the architecture roadmap.
• Lead the design and modelling of tactical architectures for delivery, development and support of projects.
• Promote the use of a shared infrastructure and application roadmap to reduce costs and improve how information flows.
• Develop and maintain policies, standards and guidelines to ensure that a consistent framework is applied across the company.

Key Skills of the role

• Experience designing, integrating, and managing complex infrastructure and application solutions (e.g. VMware, Citrix, Azure etc).
• Comprehensive knowledge of hardware, software, application and system engineering.
• Experience in building enterprise architecture roadmaps.
• Proven experience with business process and performance modelling, benchmarking and financial analysis.
• Strong project management and organisation skills.
• Strong leadership and negotiation skills with business and technical groups.

Salary 

The salary for this position is up to £90,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus car allowance, performance related bonus, pension, private medical cover etc.
