Front-End Web Developer – Fully Remote Working

Front-End Web Developer required for a dynamic organisation based in the UK, where you will be responsible for defining and managing the visual identity of the organisation, using latest UI/UX practices, delivering content to a high-standard which is visually engaging.

Working closely with the senior management team, you will create tangible web pages from detailed briefs & visual mock-ups. You will also implement A/B testing strategies & SEO recommendations, and be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of all website properties.

Within the role, you will be able to work fully from home/remotely. There is no requirement/expectation to travel.

Key Skills of the role

• Strong UX & UI design experience and proven knowledge of user-centred design, usability and accessibility.
• Experience creating or contributing to large scale and responsive web-sites.
• Experience building responsible websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JQuery.
• Experience with SASS or LESS, and working knowledge with one or more JavaScript frameworks.
• Knowledge of front-end frameworks e.g. Bootstrap, and experience of creating and modifying templates for a CMS.
• A portfolio of design & development work which demonstrates your range skills of skills.
• The ideal candidate will possess the skills required to self-solve a wide range of problems, and have the initiative to figure out appropriate solutions.
• Ideal candidate will be based within the United Kingdom.

Salary

The salary for this position is up to £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits. For this role, there is the opportunity to fully work from home and limited travel is expected.
