Senior Payroll Team Leader - £20.50 an hour LTD – Preston – 3 Months
This is a great opportunity to work within one of the UKs leading defence companies based in Preston.
As a Senior Payroll Team Leader, you will lead and motivate a team of Payroll Professionals who manage a number of high volume and high value monthly Payrolls. The role also encompasses performance improvement, process improvement and involvement in the delivery of Payroll related business projects.
Experience required for this role:-
-Proven in depth Payroll experience, ideally within a Shared Service Centre environment
-Extensive Payroll legislation knowledge, including an appreciation for future changes and the possible impact of these on a Payroll function
-Previous experience of Payroll accounts reconciliation, including a good understanding of statutory returns
-The ability to interrogate and analyse data, trouble shoot and problem solve
-Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present ideas, data and results in an easy to understand format
