My Global technical services client is currently looking for a skilled Performance Engineer to work in Swindon on a contractual basis to start on the ASAP.
Role Description:
The digital 'Mobile First' strategy at the client has successfully driven increased demand to the platforms supporting this digital channel, the associated Middleware and underlying Systems of Record. The impact of this increased demand needs to be assessed, translated to the IT estate and managed appropriately. This role is to instantiate the required Demand, Capacity and Performance Engineering/Management capability.
You’ll have:
• An understanding/appreciation of Performance/Capacity Engineering/Management
• How to design/architect systems to meet stringent performance requirements, e.g. for real-time and batch processes.
• Good communication and collaboration skills are essential.
• Ideally financial industry experience
• Previous experience in a similar role
