Contract duration: 6 months initially
My Global technical services client is currently looking for a skilled DevOps SME to work in Portsmouth on a contractual basis to start on the ASAP.
Project description: Responsible for the build and configuration of required environments supporting the overall delivery process
Skills
• Strong experience of physical and virtual Windows and Linux O/S versions, many back level
• Strong experience in the discovery of Linux systems using tools (generic) and experience-based consulting (top down discovery), collation of data in to central repository for migration design and planning purposes
• Strong Experience in high-level design of a Linux estate based on as-is, including interfacing with AD/DNS, backup, systems management and monitoring tooling
• Experience of migrating Linux systems through various techniques including implications of continued/duplicate administration
• Experience in testing principles and process around the Infrastructure Verification testing (IVT) at level 2 (O/S/Tools) and sign-off of testing from IVT1 (ground to O/S) undertaken by DC team
