Application Architect - Cloud Microservices – SC clearance

Due to the nature of the work involved, candidates will require valid SC clearance to aready be in place.
Project description:
We are looking for someone who has strong experience of designing/developing web apps using modern Single Page App (SPA) frameworks that interact with REST APIs. They should therefore have a deep understanding of JavaScript, NPM, React (or similar), and approaches for modularising CSS (such as CSS in JS). Also useful is any experience in delivering production-strength Node.js applications, and integrating with Identity and Access Managers (IAMs) using standards such as OpenID Connect
Required Skill:
• Experienced with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ideally AngularJS) and responsive design
• Excitement about emerging web technologies and how to progressively use them in projects.
• Experience working in a Devops environment e.g. Agile, TDD, CI, Git
• Familiar with using a task runner e.g. Gulp/Grunt.
• Good understanding of Web Accessibility. Strong Java skills (ideally Java 1.8), Spring Boot, Maven, Git, DevOps tooling.
• TDD, CI, agile experience preferred
Desirable
• Knowledge of message queuing (ideally RabbitMQ) Elastic Search (or SOLR)
• Experience with architectural design/microservices
Nice to have skills:
• React Bootstrap, Experience using CSS naming conventions, particularly BEM and ITCSS
