Field Manager

A pin-point role that is responsible for the management, operation and maintenance of the Western Corridor Recycled Water Project (WCRWP) and associated systems in accordance with the Operations and Maintenance Agreement with SEQW.

You will oversee the restart of three water treatment facilities based at Bundamba, Luggage Point and Gibson Island.

You will be responsible for:

  • Responsible for the operation and maintenance of the WCRWP and associated systems in accordance with the Maintenance Agreement
  • Operations and Manage the operational interface with the client on daily basis
  • Quality Policy for Drinking Water and Recycled Water to contribute to the company commitment to provide safe, high quality drinking water and recycled water that consistently meets or exceeds the requirements of the company's contracts.
  • Supervision/management of technical staff, operators, contract and administration staff.
  • In charge of operational budgets for the Project.
  • Coordinate and control the activities of the plant to optimise resource use, minimise costs and maintain quality standards.
  • Manage the operational interface with the client on day to day basis
  • Responsible for the implementation of the Asset Management and Asset Replacement Plan for the WCRWP

 

What you will need:
 

  • 15+ years relevant experience working in a Processing Industrial or Municipal environment
  • Tertiary qualifications in chemical engineering or any other relevant trade
  • Background with maintenance management systems
  • Strong working knowledge of current industrial agreements, awards and practices
  • Experience with quality assurance, OH&S and environmental systems
  • Experience with Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems and control systems
