RMS recruitment are interested in speaking to Structural QS Inspectors or Supervisors , working with a Global Ship building company on a 6month contract role in Hebburn (with a view to going perm)
Day to Day duties will include, but are not limited to:
Work in conjunction with Quality manager/project Manager and Production staff to ensure that fabricated components/units are performed in line with manufacturing programmes. Verify that fabricated units comply with specified requirements and compile inspection reports.
To be considered this position you must be conversant with heavy fabrication techniques along with:
Be able to decipher information on drawings to ensure fabrications comply with specified requirements.
Represent the company in a professional manner to Clients, Third party Inspection personnel and Contractors.
