*ICT Support Field Specialist in Stockton* (kelly) Stockton-on-Tees, England
RMS Recruitment are supporting one of our Oil& Gas Clients in recruiting a ICT Support Field Specialist - 12 month Fixed Term in Stockton.
Responsible for providing both end user and overall technical support in Stockton and other operational sites.
You will manage, support, and develop the ICT helpdesk, policies, reports, procedures, written protocols etc, satisfying both business and customer needs and statutory and agreed internal and external standards.
This role will include weekly travel to sites on an “as needed” basis.
Minimum Requirements
- ICT qualification.
- Relevant ICT work experience & contributions.
- Experience in Installation, upgrading & general support of a wide range of software applications.
- Experience in Building, installation & upgrading of hardware.
- Experience in extensive asset management.
- Experience in WAN/LAN support, installation & maintenance.
- Microsoft OS versions.
- MS Office.
Your day to day duties will include 1 St , 2 ND line ICT helpdesk support along with;
- Preparation and installations of hardware/software.
- Physical hardware rollouts & upgrades.
- Asset Management
- Undertake an active role in supporting ICT projects and strategic activities, led by the Service Delivery team. o
- Telecoms Support – Mitel IP, voice recording & Mobile phones.
Support & management of corporate tools such as (but not limited to):
- Microsoft products Citrix LANDesk § CMMS (Maintenance management systems) Finance (SAP) VSphere/ESX Server SQL Exchange/OCS VPN Video Conferencing Web/Mail Filters NetSupport AutoCAD
