Rms Recruitment are interested in speaking to New Product Design Engineers to join a Global company based in Newton Aycliffe. They have exciting projects ahead, and as they continue to grow they are looking for talented Designers interested in progressing their career, permanent roles. Reporting directly to the Products Team Leaders either working with the New Products team holding responsibility for overseeing new products from inception design stage through to manufacturing or supporting the design changes, quality improvements and the maintenance of bills of materials for existing products.
We are looking for Extensive injection moulding knowledge and experience , as well as metal pressing ,die castings and experience with 3D CAD and Catia V5. You will have a strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to be hands on, you will also have cost reduction, value analysis and DFM/DFA experience.
Contracted to 37 hours per week, competent salary and notable Benefits for this position include:

Day to Day duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Act as an interface between Global Design Centres and the manufacturing facility
- Project manage new products from inception through design stage to manufacturing
- Maintain bills of materials and implement changes-Existing Engineer
- Investigate, understand and solve design related problems-New Product engineer
- Manage multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines
- Present designs and ideas to senior management
