Purpose
To act as the single point of contact for schedule development, maintenance and reporting of all Site Managed Capital Projects (progress and milestones) that are contained within the annualised Capital Plan.
Ensures that the data is collated and reported in a consistent manner thus ensuring client has a true picture of project progress and delivery.
Responsibilities
The Planning Manager is responsible for the maintenance and initial schedule production and monthly summary reporting to the Project Engineering Operations Manager to make accurate and informed decisions. The Planning Manager is specifically responsible for
Maintains an Integrated portfolio of all Site Managed Capital Projects
Introduce new projects into the Site Managed Capital Plan with initial schedule and resource assumptions
Develop and maintain full life-cycle schedules.
Ensures consistency of each projects WBS in accordance with agreed client Work Breakdown Structure
Evaluation of underpinning documentation to support Interim, Full Funding (On and Off Site) submissions
Provide Monthly schedule reports
Annualised Capital Plan – Gantt Chart
Milestone report – By Project Manager
Milestone Tracker – Planned vs. Achieved
Project Progress
Resource Tracker
Exceptions Report (Fortnightly)
Support the production of the Project Dashboard
Support consistency and alignment reviews between project schedules and cost forecasting
Maintain a register of utilised resources (within P6) to support resource planning and reporting
Support the production of near and medium term resource plans
