Project:
Integrated Systems Security project. This project is intended to upgrade the current physical and IT security to provide seamless physical and information systems. The goal of the project is to:
• Review current physical security – including access, key fob and security cameras.
• Review current information systems security including current approach to Logical Access to application and infrastructure landscape.
• Scope out and shape the project to select off the shelf, enterprise, products that will offer improved security our client
The goal is to have a seamless system that can detect anomalies and alert the relevant physical / IT security teams to a breach. This means that from the moment a person enters site they are recognised by camera surveillance who would be able to recognise a person of interest.
Person spec
We are looking for a Solution Architect who has worked on the physical and IT integration projects before, who can design and shape the project and produce the necessary specifications and designs. They need to be a self-starter, be happy to lead, gather and shape requirements and estimate the effort, skills and complexity / duration of a project. They will be used to supporting RFP processes, evaluating technical products and defining enterprise systems with minimal need to customise. They will be infrastructure and security savvy and have a working knowledge of the current security landscape.
