Business Analyst – Business/System Transformation – Manchester

Business Analyst required for a global organisation based in Manchester, where you will play a key part in delivering transformational change, affecting how the business is run and how services are delivered. Your role will be focussed around bridging the gap between the business users, stakeholders and technical IT teams ensuring that the business requirements are translated into formats that are suitable for all stakeholders, including solution architects from which specifications, design and application configurations are built.

The ideal candidate will be a driven Business Analyst, who is looking to further their career in a challenging but rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities of the role

• Understand, define and document business requirements to the scope of the project for all levels of business stakeholders.
• Capture now and future states of processes and systems landscapes through effective process modelling and management.
• Facilitate discussion and playback workshops to drive business engagement throughout the requirements gathering and process development stages, ensuring risks, issues and opportunities are captured to support the wider project.
• Translate requirements into solution and business integration documentation to support technical teams with the build and testing phases of the project.
• Produce suitable documentation to support the delivery of the project in accordance with the scope, supporting its delivery from time, cost and quality perspectives.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records, prepare and present high-quality material to stakeholders.

Key Skills of the role

• Business Analyst experience from an IT Project environment – essential
• Proven track record of delivering within the project environment, preferably within a multi-project programme.
• Knowledge and demonstrated experience in requirement gathering processes and methodologies, including the project lifecycle.
• Strong technical aptitude and computer proficiency, including MS Office Suite and MS Visio.
• Able to demonstrate basic understanding of the deployed technologies across the enterprise and of multiple system platforms.
• Demonstrable strong written, presentation, communication and negotiation skills and can articulate complex solutions.
• Experience in supporting projects within a large-scale organisation.
• Desirable to have Dynamics HR or ERP implantation experience.

Salary

The salary for this position is up to £47,000, depending on experience, plus benefits.
