These positions are based within a production facility, labelling products, putting goods into containers and completing quality checks. If you are good with your hands, and you can work quickly and accurately, this could be the job for you. As a packer you will need to have a fair level of fitness and you will need to able to follow clear instructions.
Working Hours
The hours of work for these positions are 7.30am - 5.15pm Monday - Thursday. These positions are temporary ongoing.
Income
The rate of pay for these positions is £7.87 per hour with overtime paid at time and half paid (after certain times)
Skills, Interests and Qualities
To be a packer you should have:
- The ability to carry out repetitive tasks quickly and carefully
- Good practical skills
- The ability to follow instructions
- A reasonable level of fitness
- An awareness of safety issues.
On-site parking is available at our client’s premises and is accessible by bus from Edinburgh and West Lothian.
