First Article Inspector with knowledge of CMM needed for quality control department In central Connecticut manufacturing plant.
This position is a 90 day temporary assignment, first shift, full time hours, $22.00 pr/hr. Candidate must be able to Perform most precision mechanical inspection measurements Using CMM for conformance to engineering drawings, Perform the required set-up of the CMM precision measuring equipment to verify the various measurements. Includes set-ups for measuring height, widths, depths, diameters, radii, symmetry, perpendicularity, parallelism, thread sizes, etc. Complete all necessary documents such as inspection records and rejection notices, in support of inspection functions. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Ideal candidate has at least 10 years Quality control inspection experience in manufacturing, has extensive knowledge of how to work on a CMM and is available to start ASAP. Successful candidate should be able to pass a drug and background screen.
