THE POSITION
After a recent acquisition, this firm has brought on a highly successful General Liability arm that require a Legal PA to support just 3 including 1 Special Counsel, 1 Senior Associate and 1 Associate. The Special Counsel has been described as very successful at what he does servicing government authorities, international insurers and financial institutions on both litigated and un-litigated claims from lower courts to the High Court. He is as an absolute pleasure to deal with, he offers clear instructions, access to information and client involvement. His hobbies include NRL, active pursuits and cinema.
DUTIES
- Diary management of court orders, meetings and deadline reminders
- Organisation of international travel to Asia
- File management
- Preparing court documents
- Typing of correspondence and legal documentation
- Client liaison
- Client reporting
THE CANDIDATE
- Legal Secretary with 4-8 years’ experience in Insurance Litigation of any kind from product liability, personal injury, public liability etc.
- Defendant experience preferable
- Organised and proactive
- Resilient
- Someone who enjoys a fast pace environment, working under pressure to meet tight deadlines
