A Large Oil and Gas Company in Midland, Texas is looking for a Yard Supervisor.
The Yard Supervisor will be in charge of the management of materials coming in and out of the yard(tubing, rods, etc.). This position involves supervising drivers and yard employees/contractors in the yard and ensuring the safe and timely delivery of product to customers, compliance, monitoring attendance, communicating with maintenance staff regarding equipment repairs and with customers regarding delivery issues. Establish and maintain a clean, safe work environment and ensure compliance with company policies.
This is a full-time Monday- Friday Contract position with hours from 6:30AM-3:30PM or 7:00AM-4:00PM. Candidates must be local to the Midland, TX area or willing to relocate there on their own. Pay is $35 per hour. This is a 6-12 month Long-term W2 contract with potential to go direct hire. We offer a full benefits package with 401k.
Looking for:
Candidates that have experience as a Yard Supervisor ideally 3-5 years. Will also consider Roustabouts that have taken on such duties before.
Forklift License is ideal especially John Deere 64.
Roustabout experience is a plus.
Strong communication skills
