Summary

The role of Project Manager will be responsible for the coordination of product releases. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with financial services experience to demonstrate their project management and business knowledge in the context of market data, indices, and real time data. The project management requires interaction at senior management level as well as with technical teams

Responsibilities

•Defining the project governance, organising and coordinating work streams
•Creating action plans, presentations, and coordinating the delivery business work streams, legal/compliance documentation, functional requirements, and technical specifications
•Communicating with business representatives and technology experts
•Managing and tracking each project and actions with regular reporting till completion
•Monitoring the financials, and proactively mitigating risks to control the status of projects
•Project managing both business and technology tasks for implementation
•Steer stakeholders to deliver the project in a structured manner
•Identify and engage resources required to deliver the project plan
•Coordinate activities between team members, third-parties and consultants
•Ensure that requirements/scope are fully captured, clearly documented and signed off
•Establish, define and maintain a Project Plan

Skills and Experience

•Managing complex business programmes for market data or indices
•Communicating to senior management
•Taking full ownership of project delivery through all stages of the lifecycle
•Technology proficiency with trading systems
•Prince 2 Practitioner (or equivalent)
•Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project
•Project delivery in a financial services industry
•Familiarity with trading technology
•Business case and financial reporting proficiency
•Business knowledge of capital markets
•Market Data platform technologies
•Real Time data experience
•Experience of Clarity for project reporting
•Understanding of regulatory data requirements
