Business Analyst – Risk & Performance (15248080/002) London, England
Purpose
A transformational programme is underway to implement BlackRock Solutions’ Aladdin and deliver sophisticated risk analytics with comprehensive portfolio management, trading and operations on a single platform to enable more informed decision making, improved risk management and enhanced operational scale and efficiency. The Group Operations Transformation function, led by the COO, is responsible for implementing Aladdin
Within this programme there will be changes to the way risk and performance systems and services are provided to the business across retail funds, FI institutional funds and segregated mandates.
Opportunity
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced business analyst to support the risk and performance workstream of the programme. The successful candidate will be part of team responsible for the design and integration of Aladdin with existing systems along with performing business process engineering with the consumers of risk and performance services (front office and client reporting).
Key Responsibilities
•Undertaking analysis and solution design for the implementation of Aladdin along with existing systems
•Performing business process engineering and documenting procedures
•Supporting IT development with business requirements
•Ensuring the system is tested against requirements

Requirements and Experience
The candidate should have:
•A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the investment management industry
•Knowledge / experience of:
oRisk, performance returns and attribution processes and systems
oBusiness analysis including; requirements, process reengineering and procedures
oProblem solving and solution design
•Good communication and stakeholder management skills
Ideally, the candidate would have:
•Knowledge of BRS Aladdin
•System implementation and testing experience
