I am actively recruiting to an Optical CAE Analyst vacancy with a prestigious Automotive OEM based in Gaydon, Warwickshire.
This is a long term rolling contract vacancy with hourly rates available up to £25.00LTD for the right candidate.
Position Description:
The Role will be within the optical CAE team, the CAE Engineer will be responsible for managing the delivery of optical performance analyses to standard customer requirements.
As part of the Virtual HUB, you will be required to develop and deliver new failure mode detection events for optical analysis and new technology assessment
Experience with optical simulation software such as SPEOS, Zemax, Light-tools
Creation of full vehicle CAE models in Catia V5, following optical CAE guidelines
Extract all required CAD data
Create Catia V5 project following the current process for optical CAE analysis
Ensure vehicle delivery according to program timing plan. Reviewing data input processes
Identify missing data and resolve to keep timing plan
Prepare reports for team leads review
Interface with virtual series
Experience Required:
SPEOS Tool Knowledge / Working knowledge of visualisation tools
Knowledge on Optical Failure modes related to Human Machine interface
Working knowledge of TeamCenter / Catia V5
Knowledge of statistical modelling and data analysis
Experience in CAD modelling
Knowledge of Human Machine Interface and Head-up Display technologies.
