My client are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team. This is a long established business and is located just outside Dublin City Centre, they supply office furniture and fixtures to all levels of businesses, supplying everything from the smallest fixtures and fittings up to complete turnkey solutions from bare shell. Their intention is to deliver a high quality product to their clients with a minimum of disruption and stress, whether it is a demountable wall in an office or a complete turnkey fit out package.

The Role

The role of BDM/Project Manager will be split between time on the road and in the office, it is anticipated that this role will be a 30/70 mix of office/field. The BDM will develop new business, dealing, where possible, directly with business owners and office managers. The BDM will also deal with building contractors and architects.

After the business is won the fit out must be project managed by the BDM up until the point that the job is complete and signed off. Solving any issues and handling any changes the customer may want to make and ensuring all work is carried out to the highest possible standard.  

The Candidate

The candidate must have 3-5years experience within construction or office furniture sales. An established network within the industry would be a distinct advantage.

·         3rd level degree or equivalent work experience

·         Experience within the construction sales sector

·         Excellent communicator

·         Impeccable presentation skills

·         Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint/Excel)

·         Full, clean driving licence
