JOB TITLE: IT Support Technician
LOCATION: Stamford
SALARY: £7.20 per hour + statutory holiday pay
teachFE is working on behalf of an established Further Education College within the Lincolnshire area and is looking for an IT Support Technician to work 5 days per week with an immediate start. This is for a 3 month period. The suitable candidate will be required to work 08.30 – 17.00pm Monday to Friday.
The role involves working as of a team maintaining and developing a complex and diverse network of Windows and Mac workstations and portable devices. Other resources include printers, copiers, scanners, smart boards, digital cameras and a wide variety of other peripheral devices.
The suitable candidate will carry out support-related tasks to support this environment covering all College sites, ensuring the requirements of students and staff are met at all times. Whilst implementing the IT strategy for the Microsoft Desktop environment and provide technical support.
The candidate must have a technical qualification in a relevant area i.e. Microsoft Certified Professional and have a broad experience of Microsoft systems.
