JOB TITLE: Design Technology Teacher
LOCATION: West Yorkshire
SALARY: £17 - 25 per hour + statutory holiday pay
White Rose Resourcing is pleased to be working alongside a leading Further Education College to recruit for an exciting part time temporary position as an experienced Design Technology Tutor/Mentor within the West Yorkshire area.
This is a great opportunity for a candidate who is able to tutor and mentor groups of students through design and build projects, supporting engineering students, working with schools to support STEM delivery and producing small scale commercial work. You must be able to confidently work with primary, secondary, FE and adult learners.
Suitable candidates will meet the following criteria:
• Hold a relevant teaching qualification (Cert Ed, PGCE, DTLLS, CTLLS or PTLLS)
• Hold a minimum level 4 qualification in specialist area.
• Experience working with a range of student ages
• Knowledge of 2D and 3D design, CNC machinery and 3D printing ideal
• Excellent IT skills a requirement
• Extensive knowledge of your subject area.
• Able to produce work to time sensitive deadlines
