teachFE Doncaster is working on behalf of an established Further Education College within the South Yorkshire area, which requires a Life Skills Lecturer to join their enterprising and industrious department in September.
The hours for this role would be for 24 hours per week
We have a role that requires you having experience of working with students with learning difficulties on independent living and work preparations
Subjects included are work preparation, cooking leisure and possibly some maths and English.
Suitable candidates will meet the following criteria:
•Hold a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Hold a relevant teaching qualification (Cert Ed, PGCE, DTLLS, CTLLS or PTLLS) or be in the process of completing the course.
• Have good organisational and planning skills.
• Plenty of enthusiasm and the ability to motivate students.
• Willingness to provide outstanding support for learners
• Extensive knowledge of your subject area.
• Be flexible and self-motivated with a dedication to student achievement and quality.
