JOB TITLE: Student Union Worker

SALARY: £8.95 - £9.99 per hour plus statutory holiday pay

teachFE is pleased to be working alongside a leading Further Education College to recruit for an
exciting temporary position as an experienced Student Union Worker within the South Yorkshire
area.

The role would require you To work collaboratively with the Youth Engagement Worker and
Student Union Development Worker in the planning and development of Common Room
activities, Diner enterprise and cross College events and also to support learners in their
commitment and contribution to the Student Voice Agenda.


Suitable candidates will meet the following criteria:

• Hold minimum level 3 in a relevant qualification
• Have a minimum of two year’s experience of working with young people and adults in an educational or youth setting
•Has a good understanding of Youth/Community work with proven ability to develop project based work, including planning, monitoring and evaluation
• Previous experience of working within a similar role would be desirable, but not essential
•Have good organisational and planning skills.
• Plenty of enthusiasm and the ability to motivate students.
• Willingness to provide outstanding support for learners
• Extensive knowledge of your subject area.
• Be flexible and self-motivated with a dedication to student achievement and quality.
