A well-known leader within the transport & logistics space is currently seeking a new team member within their credit department. Based in Port Melbourne, this organisation specialises in providing high class customer service and treating their customers with priority. Due to restructure, they have opportunities for an experienced credit professional to achieve results.
The Position
Reporting to the Credit Team Leader and working within a close team environment, this role will commence in the New Year. It is a hands-on position in a busy environment that requires the following responsibilities;
- Providing high-class service to all customers
- Handling enquiries within the customer query mailbox
- Re-issuing invoices to customers
- Investigating issues and problem solving
- Escalating customer queries to relevant team members
- Supporting the credit team with any administration support including reporting
The Person
To be successful in your application, you will have a high level of attention to detail, ability to maintain customer relationships and have excellent time management. You will be a team player with a positive attitude and have the will to learn and take on new challenges. Previous experience within a Credit Control position is required and preferably in transport or similar industries. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and able to present in a professional manner.
