Management Accountant - Construction / Housing

Management Accountant - Construction / Housing (15245352/002) Perth & Kinross, Scotland

A major construction business are currently recruiting for a qualified or part-qualified management Accountant to work with them in Perth.

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

•Preparation of monthly trading results for RD approval
•Preparation of monthly managements accounts for region for review with RD and Head of Finance
•Prepare variance analysis for month end margin and cash
•Weekly & monthly cash reporting
•Maintain and update financial forecast model
•Maintain consolidated rolling plot schedule
•Check accuracy of weekly sales reports and sales status
•Approval and coding of invoices on PIMS
•Liaison with Central Finance team on payment issues
•Calculate and post month end accrual journals for sales and marketing costs, overheads and business development spend
•Update and review sales & marketing costs with Sales Manager
•Perform financial checks on Gate Packs and CVRs
•Participate in and support roll of new Housing MIS system
•Attend monthly cost to complete reviews
•Issue monthly cost reports to surveyors
•Populate Project on a Page templates and Life of Site reports
•Request sales invoices from Central Finance Team
•Prepare "settlement" forms for plot sales
•Support Head of Finance and Regional Director in any ad-hoc financial tasks
•Liaison as necessary with external/internal auditors
