TSA have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Building Surveyor / Expert Witness Surveyor with an expanding consultancy.
We require a confident and experienced surveyor to support and eventually lead and grow our expert witness and housing disrepair claims service in Manchester and surrounding areas. Based upon achievement the successful candidate will be given a clear pathway to achieving Associate Director status within the company.
Key job requirements include but not limited to:-
- To deliver housing disrepair and expert witness services, including surveys, report writing and
presenting findings when required in court.
- Undertake a Design, Procurement, Contract Administration / Employers Agent / Clerk of Works
roles on refurbishment and remodelling projects.
- Undertake a wide range of property surveys and produce various reports and AutoCAD drawings
including specific defect reports on building defects, full building surveys, structural surveys,
condition surveys, pre-acquisition surveys, fire risk assessment surveys, DDA surveys stock
condition surveys and dilapidation surveys.
- Advise clients about building / property issues including technical, financial, contractual, legal /
statutory compliance, environmental, Building Regulation and conservation matters.
- Prepare and submit Planning and Building Regulation applications.
- Prepare plans, drawings, contracts, budgets, reports and other documentation as required.
- To undertake research as required including summarising and preparing reports for Directors.
