Integrys Business Support, a subsidiary of Integrys Energy Group, is currently recruiting for a temporary PT (20 hrs) IT Help Desk Student at our downtown Chicago office. This position reports to the Leader - IT Service Center.
The IT Help Desk Specialist is responsible for identifying, researching and resolving technical problems and service requests for internal business partners. They provide fulfillment of requests from business partners which can be related to a wide range of topics including computer hardware, software, security, access management, networks, telecommunications and conferencing. They service end user via phone, email, intranet, or in person, through the use of IT Help Desk resources or they escalate problems to Infrastructure, Operations, and Application support groups when applicable. In addition, they train business partners on proper use of equipment and corporate applications.
- Students must be enrolled as a full-time student pursuing a technical, associate, bachelor or master degree.
Students must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 grade scale.
- High school graduate, or GED/HSED
- 1+ years PC experience (i.e. Hardware, Peripherals and Software, Internet)
- 1+ years experience Customer Service
- Available during Summer & School Year
