A contract opportunity is available to work within the automotive Industry, based in the Midlands. This role is to help deliver engine commodities from concept to launch. The role will liaise across multiple functions and Engineers.
Position Description:
As part of an established, motivated and fast moving team, the successful candidate would work for an experienced team leader to help deliver engine commodities across several applications.
Delivery scale would be from Concept to Launch with the responsibility of managing the delivery of key engine components into production. The engineer must support all the programme gateways and support all the development milestones.
They must also work with suppliers, cross functional teams and resolve issues to ensure a smooth production launch.
REQUIRED:
1) Experience of managing the delivery of components from prototype through to production, in a product development environment
2) Good communication skills with the ability to translate technical information into easily understandable, clear communications
3) Self-motivated, enthusiastic, pro-active, demonstrates initiative, with ability to work with minimum supervision
