Information Systems Developer (004) County Durham, England
This role involves development of new systems as well as administration, changes and maintenance of this companies current systems. Web, application and database development through SAP administration.
Key Requirements:
- Methodical and systematic approach to daily tasks/duties
- 1-2 years knowledge of.net programming language, preferably C#
- Good communicator, able to work in diverse teams, strong interpersonal skills.
- Must be willing to learn the business systems & process knowledge
- You must have knowledge and understanding of how an IS department supports a complex business organisation
Duties:
- Development of new end user software and support companies departments
- Write end user documentation
- SQL database administration
- End user support using Service desk tools
- Routine administration and enhancement of existing .net/C#/VB databases
- Train key users and end users where required
- Administration of SAP user authorisations to Corporate standards
- Monitoring and administration of EDI messages in SAP
- SAP system performance monitoring as needed
- Document new systems development
Qualifications:
- Internal Processes- Good knowledge of internal business processes
- C# .net programming- Good understanding
- Web technologies- Good understanding
- TSQL- Good understanding
- SAP- EDI and delivery processes
- MS Office- Good understanding
- CA Service Desk Manager-Good understanding
Must be educated to minimum A level standard in an IS/IT related discipline
