I am currently working with leading specialist Law firm based in Chester who are looking for a driven Trainee Solicitor for a permanent position based in their offices.

This role offers a very generous pay and benefits package along with commission - OTE earnings £35k+

This role in a Legal 500 recognised firm sits within a busy Business Development and Regulatory Department and would be suitable for someone who is looking to progress their legal career.

This role will be split between business development and hands on legal work.
- You will work to develop business by introducing the firms services to perspective clients.
- You will immerse yourself into key niche markets, develop deep industry knowledge and form relationships with decision makers to identify need.
- You will as part of a team develop and communicate solutions to service such identified need.
- Upon winning a new client you will prepare the full case notes for the legal team with which you will work closely seeing these highly-specialised cases through to conclusion.
- Meeting with clients to take proofs of evidence, collecting evidence, drafting submissions and potentially undertaking advocacy in tribunals will also be among some of the duties in this exciting role.

This role is part of a supportive and expert team and is keen to support someone through their training and further career as a Solicitor.

The ideal candidate will have a law degree (or equivalent) and have strong commercial experience in a targeted Business to Business external sales role.

This role requires business development of new clients, so a confident communicator who is able to communicate and negotiate effectively with a range of stakeholders is important.

Please note, GDL/LPC qualification is desirable but not essential.
