Electrical maintenance engineer – London – Permanent – Up to £30,000
My client is a market leader within the construction industry with a multitude of contracts around the London area. Due to newly attained contracts, my client requires an electrical engineer to maintain a multi-million pound establishment. You will be required to carry out PPM and reactive tasks within this public sector contract.
You should be able to work well under pressure, as well as productively and accurately within tight time constraints. You will be flexible in your approach to difficult situations and must possess excellent communication skills as you will be liaising with other specialist technicians as well as working independently. Tasks will include electrical works, but will also require minor multi-skilled tasks, such as working with air handling units and BMS systems.
To qualify for this position, you must be apprentice trained or have undertaken recognised training. You must have atleast 2 years’ post qualification experience and have one of the following; City & Guilds 236 parts 1&2 or equivalent, an NVQ level 3 Electrical installation or equivalent or an ONC/HND in electrics or equivalent.
