Noted law firm seeks a (Private Client) Estate Planning Associate Attorney with a minimum 8 years of experience to join its Providence group. Ideal Candidate is one who has practiced in all areas of estate planning and estate and trust administration. A practitioner who has worked in developing lifetime gifting and testamentary plans to best accomplish client’s dispositive goals and to minimize estate, gift and generation skipping transfer taxes preferred. Candidate should also experience in the formation and funding of grantor retained annuity trusts, qualified personal residence trusts, charitable remainder trusts, family limited partnerships and limited liability companies. Excellent writing skills and oral communication skills are required.
Compensation is commensurate to experience.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Servicing a diverse clientele to include major corporations, regional and national real estate developers, investors ranging from individuals to investment, private equity and pension funds, public agencies, educational institutions, insurance companies and major financial institutions.
-Having a strong grasp of the complex legal issues raised by sophisticated public/private real estate ventures.
-Structuring a wide range of public-private partnerships and addressing the issues that are typically problematic for public and private clients in these real estate projects.
-Ability to work in a collaborative manner with a team of estate planning attorneys, tax accountants and paralegals.
