Accounts Assistant

Location:  --Slough
Salary:  GBP22000 - GBP25000 per annum


This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy team based in the Slough area. You will be carrying out multiple duties within Sales and Purchase Ledger whilst assisting theĀ Finance Manager and Senior Management Accountant with duties. This position would suit someone that enjoys a wide variety of tasks and a broad job description as you will be hands on.


The position is to start on a temporary basis and after 3 months will be made permanent, depending on performance. There is an extensive job description for this role that I will discuss with suitable applicants in more detail.


Ideally you will have experience using Navision and or SAP. You will need to have all round experience in Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger along with reconciliations and journals. You will need to also have had experience in the following:



  • Dealing with vendor Queries

  • Must have advanced Excel with experience of V-look ups and Pivot tables

  • Reconciliation of Vendor Accounts

  • Posting and assigning Bank Statement Entries

  • Processing of Invoices & Credit notes

  • Processing Journals

  • Creating Purchase Orders

  • Management of Purchase Orders

  • Processing of Employee expenses

  • Credit Checks & Investigating account history

  • Create & maintain payment terms

  • Printing daily bank statement

  • Posting statement receipts

  • Management of petty cash
