This position will be responsible for responding to all customer requests and questions regarding products and account information in a timely and professional manner via telephone or email. Other responsibilities include preparing, processing, reviewing and monitoring various documents including customer orders, shipments, forecasts and replenishments. Will also prepare quotes and recommend products based on customer needs. Prepare and calculate premiums, invoicing and commissions. Informs customer of unit prices, shipping dates and follows up on orders to ensure delivery by specified dates. Will also interact with production, shipping, warehouse or common carrier personnel to expedite or trace missing or delayed shipments.
We are seeking individuals who are self-starters, upbeat and motivated with an excellent work ethic. Candidates must possess the ability to learn quickly and effectively in this highly technical, ever changing, competitive business.
High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelors degree preferred. Must have at least 1-2 years customer service experience in a call center environment. Strong interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Attention to detail and accuracy a must. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Knowledge and experience in MRP systems a plus. |
