Protocol is pleased to be working alongside an outstanding college in the Lancashire area, who require a Confidence building/Positive Thinking Lecturer for a position starting immediately. The college are looking for a candidate who is able to deliver within a community setting for 2 hours per week. The successful candidate will have worked with low-level groups, employability programmes and/or support programmes and have had experience of Counselling up to level 3, Cognitive behavioural therapy and Neuro-linguistic programming.
The timetable for this role is –
Tuesday 09.30 – 11.30
We are keen to hear from candidates that use innovative teaching techniques to motivate and inspire learners.
Suitable candidates will meet the following criteria:
• Hold a relevant teaching qualification (Cert Ed, PGCE, DTLLS, CTLLS or PTLLS).
• Hold a minimum level 3 Counselling qualification.
• Have experience of delivering Confidence Building/Positve Thinking within the community
• Have good organisational and planning skills.
• Plenty of enthusiasm and the ability to motivate students.
• Willingness to provide outstanding support for learners
• Extensive knowledge of your subject area.
• Be flexible and self-motivated with a dedication to student achievement and quality.
