As an LSA you will provide support to learners with learning difficulties and/or physical disabilities, to enable them to integrate fully into their studies and college life. The type of support will vary from learner to learner, and may include offering physical assistance and note-taking in a classroom setting.
Who are we looking for………
You will have a calm, patient and flexible approach with previous experience of providing support to young people, ideally in the 16-19 age groups.
You will be educated to level 3 or above, with a level 2 qualification in English and Maths at grade C or above.
You will have excellent organisational and communication skills and the ability to develop a rapport as a responsible and trustworthy role model for learners to support them to fulfil their potential.
