You might be surprised to learn that you don’t need a teaching qualification to teach engineering subjects at this Further Education College based in Cumbria.

This College is based in a beautiful part of the country and working/moving here will be a lifestyle and culture change. The college are offering a relocation package where you can claim up to £2500 in expenses.

Engineering subjects are more popular than ever and due to the national shortage of quality experienced Trades and Engineering Professionals; colleges are now looking to recruit industry professionals who would like to try their hand at passing on their skills and knowledge to the next generation. You don’t need a teaching qualification and often the college will pay for you to gain one if desired.

Requirements:
- Hands on experience in any engineering area
- Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and/or Electrical Installation.
- Previous experience in a training capacity (training apprentices would be ideal but not essential)
- A passion for engineering and a desire to inspire the next generation
- People skills
- Ability to learn new skills
