Job Title: Engineering Lecturer and Assessor
Location: Merseyside
Salary: £20.00 - £30.00 per hour, plus statutory holiday pay
Protocol is working on behalf of a leading Further Education College in the Merseyside area, who require an Engineering Lecturer/Assessor for a 0.5 position starting ASAP. The college are looking for a Candidate who will teach across a variety of programmes including Level 2, Level 3 Extended Diplomas and HNC/HND programmes in Engineering and as directed perform assessments of learners in the workplace. The ability to teach manual milling and turning is vital for this role and knowledge of CNC Machine Programming would also be an advantage. The college are looking for a candidate who is able to deliver for 17.5 hours per week.
Suitable candidates will meet the following criteria:
• Hold a relevant teaching qualification (Cert Ed, PGCE, DTLLS or CTLLS).
• Hold a relevant assessing qualification (Level 3 Assessing Certificate, TAQA or A1)
• Ideally hold an Engineering degree.
• Have experience of delivering up to HND Level Engineering within FE
• Have good organisational and planning skills.
• Plenty of enthusiasm and the ability to motivate students.
• Willingness to provide outstanding support for learners
• Extensive knowledge of your subject area.
• Be flexible and self-motivated with a dedication to student achievement and quality.
