From Finance Officers to Cleaners, everyone has their role to play in delivering excellence in Further Education.
We are looking for a hardworking individual who can work on their own initiative to undertake a busy, full time permanent Estates Administrator role at a leading Further Education College in Sunderland.
The successful candidate would need to be highly organised. As a member of the team you will be responsible for:
- Developing and continually maintaining an Estates and Curriculum asset management database to ensure an accurate and true representation of asset status.
- Monitoring Estates contracts for validity and compliance.
- Assisting the coordination of contractor site visits and activities.
- Tracking compliance with statutory legislation and health and safety requirements.
- Acting as an Estates central point of contact for hiring of College facilities.
- Undertaking Estates administration duties.
- Maintaining health and safety information and databases.
- Providing departmental KPI reporting.

Essential criteria:

- Must have a minimum level 2 Maths and English qualification.
- Must have a Microsoft Excel, Word and Access qualification.
- Experience of providing a facilities or maintenance service in a busy organisation.
- Experience of working with contractors and suppliers and the monitoring of service standards.
- An understanding of compliance requirements and working with service level.
- Proven experience of delivering excellent customer care and service.
- Enthusiasm and commitment to learn about and get involved in the department’s Activities.
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow department procedures.
