2170 - Civil Construction Supervisor (PR-32710443) Minot, North Dakota

Salary: perdiem

A large Upstream Oil and Gas Company in the North Dakota area is looking to hire a Civil Construction Supervisor on a 12 month contract.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 4-year engineering degree or equivalent combination of technical training and/or related experience
  • Minimum of 5 years construction management experience and/or supervision of earthwork construction projects

Role Requirements:

  • Strong working knowledge of mass grading earthwork projects
  • Ability to interpret engineered designs, specifications, and survey principles
  • Ability to develop civil construction scopes for small to medium sized projects
  • Ability to manage multiple construction projects at one time
  • Ability to proficiently work in Microsoft office, Adobe, and schedule daily activities in our SPS software (training will be given on SPS)
  • Possess excellent communication skills both verbally and written
  • Ability to review and advise on budgets and change orders
  • Ability to work with landowners and government officials

Job Description:

  • Initiate and Manage Construction Kick-Off meetings
  • Conduct daily site visits to locations and approval of Work Permits
  • Attend jobsite tailgate meetings, contractor safety meetings, and reviews JSAs on location
  • Manage the scheduling of all civil project daily activities according to SPS
  • Ensure that all projects are constructed without deviation according to the IFC Design
  • Ensure that all construction activities are checked for Quality acceptance – COS acceptance to Drilling, Facilities, Completions and Operations
  • Communicate impacts and Design Deviations to Project Lead
  • Responsible to lead & schedule Post Job Walk Downs and facilitate project handover
  • Responsible to coordinate cross functional activities involving the contractor on location
  • Work with land owners, state agencies & government personnel as required for stipulation & regulatory compliance
  • First line of decision making on Warranty Requests or Change Orders
  • Responsible to attend all pre-drilling rig move meetings and coordinate all needed work prior to rig move to ensure route is safe and pad is 100% ready for rig arrival
  • Coordinate all activities after drilling rig release in order to hand pad over for flow line install and eventually handover for completion activities
  • Responsible for the execution of Legacy & Final Reclamation Projects

Rate: $770 /day + $230 per diem /day

Contract: 12 months

Location: Minot, ND

Schedule: M-F 40 hours weekly
